Before my retirement I was a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and I spent an awful lot of time in board meetings. So I want you to know I was impressed by the way you chaired our AGM last Friday. You kept the meeting focussed, allowed a reasonable amount of discourse, demonstrated that you were well prepared for the questions that arose and you kept the mood friendly from beginning to end.
Good chairpersons are rare and you clearly have a talent for it.
